They Killed the Dreamer: The CIA and the Assassination of Martin Luther King

Overview

King's death was one of a series of domestic assassinations by CIA of those who opposed the war in Vietnam and were influential enough to have an effect on things. Also the race riots of the 1960's played into it, especially those in Watts and LA that angered two members of the Dealey Plaza Death Squad, Gerry Hemming and Roy Hargraves, who had settled down with their families to enjoy a vacation from espionage and intrigue. James Angleton gave them the Green Light and Martin Luther King was living on borrowed time. Hemming knew of Ray through the NSRP and had Hargraves set him up for the King fall. Hargraves AKA Raoul committed a murder with Ray to win his trust. Later after a bit of grooming, he had Ray buy a rifle, rent a room, leave his stuff and the rifle in the room the split because the buyer in the international arms dealer didn't want to meet anyone. So Ray waited in the car outside the rooming house. Enter David Christ from Dealey Plaza tramp fame who does the hit and it spotted by some residents From their descriptions a sketch is made that looks just like the tramp. After the MLK hit this appears all over the media. Hargraves left before the hit and was replaced by Christ who did the hit, took Rays stuff to leave on the side, and just as he left threw a sheet over his head got in the car and under the sheet then jumped off 8 blocks away. RAY THOUGHT IT WAS RAOUL WHEN IT WAS CHRIST. The sketch looks nothing like Raoul Hargraves so he couldn't have been the shooter.
