Overview

In a small Missouri town during the 1950s, Betty Jackson was a normal American young lady who sought meaning in the midst of hardship. She must choose whether to live bound by fear or rise into the calling of her ancestors. An ordinary day consisted of overcoming unimaginable bouts with not only poverty, discrimination, and segregation, but also spiritual warfare in the form of police brutality and systemic oppression. When tragedy and injustice press against her family, by prophecy, they discover their true inheritance. Raised in a family bound by faith, love, and unshakable courage, Betty soon learns that tolerating unbearable circumstances doesn't measure strength, but by the spiritual promises fulfilled from her determination to persevere.
