Overview

"They called him Teacher this book is an attempt to analyze the teaching strategies, methods, approaches and philosophies of Jesus. It is not an effort to measure the teaching methods, approaches, and/or strategies of Jesus' teaching against secular thinking, theories and philosophies regarding education. It is not a step by step how-to manual on the means to transfer learning from the teacher/professor's brain to the student's brain. It is designed to portray not only what Jesus taught, but also how He taught it. He knew what to teach and how to do it in ways that are comprehensible to man. It is an attempt to help dedicated teachers understand the high calling they have because the Son of God allowed himself to be called, ""Teacher"". Carol P. Ramsay is Professor Emerita from Lake Erie College, OH. She previously was a professor at Grove City College, PA, Principal of the Youngstown Christian Schools, and teacher in the Youngstown Public Schools. In over five decades of dedicated service in education she has experienced a plethora of new educational theories and practices. She is dedicating her retirement to exploring the greatest teacher who ever lived, Jesus Christ.Carol received her B.S. in Education degree at Youngstown State University, her MA at Westminster College, and her Ed.D. from The University of Akron.Dr. Ramsay and her husband, Keith, have been married 54+ years and currently live in Perry, OH. They have two sons, Tom and Jeremy, and three grandchildren, Savanna, Zachary, and Nathan."
