As a speaker/trainer, I encourage my clients to Speak from the Heart. Share their stories. The stories which offer insight and life lessons for their audiences. That is exactly what you get with Trish Ostroski's There's A Rooster in My Bathroom. Throughout this thought-provoking book, Trish provides a variety of stories that will be valued by many and covering various facets of life. I especially liked the chapter Right Time to Lose Your Job because she illustrates what might be considered by many as a setback but how she writes...Can be a fresh journey to a new adventure. What I like best about this chapter as well as for the rest of the book, Trish offers examples of what you can do to better your life. You are going to enjoy reading AND applying the lessons in this whimsical, easy-to-read book. Enjoy! Maurice DiMino, International Award-Winning Speaker, Best Selling Author, TEDx Speaker MauriceDiMino.com A beautiful, dailybook-on-the-nightstand read! Trish rings the bell (as she did in the Peace Corps) with insights and observations from a life lived from Moldova to Hollywood and beyond, and she shares her wonderful ride! Joan van Ark, Actress Trish's career focused on service above self, which allowed her to experiences places and people most of us only dream of. Her stories will resonate with anyone who loves travel and life lessons learned on the journey. Kyle Kutuchief, Program Director in Akron for Knight Foundation Reading Trish Ostroski's There's a Rooster in my Bathroom , reads as I imagine most tales of a life well- lived should, like scenes from a movie. Each one captures a different aspect of the life lived by Trish, allowing the reader to page through each section as it captures their interest. I am a musician, so I really enjoyed the section where she got to attend a seminar by Janis Ian, who guided Trish and others through the meaning of her song, At Seventeen , line by line. What a night that must have been! I highly recommend There's a Rooster in my Bathroom for anyone who loves a good story! You won't regret it! Mark Brown, Musician, Community Theater actor and director Trish Ostroski's There's a Rooster in my Bathroom is a wonderful group of stories about her Peace Corps experiences that offers life lessons for any reader. It's proof again that the most compelling way to learn about other people and places is through skilled story telling. Her recollections of a boy named Livia particularly touched me, and illuminates the perspective a child can bring to facing life's challenges. I know from my 40 years of serving as CEO of Akron Children's Hospital how true this is. Trish's collection of stories is thoughtful, real and written in an easy to read style. Enjoy! William H. Considine, CEO Emeritus Akron Children's Hospital
