There is a significant chance that preschool will be the first place where a child comes into contact with autistic individuals. It's important that before entering this world, children are aware that each of us is different, we all value different things, but everyone is equally unique. Marta Kwiatkowska - teacher, mother ""A fantastic book - once again, Fenek's adventures positively surprise - addressing the issue of children on the autism spectrum, which is increasingly common among us, in a great, child-friendly way. I can't wait to read this book in its paper version to my preschoolers."" Monika Wiatrak - Teacher, hand therapist ""I am very pleased that such a title has appeared in Fenek's adventures, as the number of children on the autism spectrum is increasing, and their peers do not always understand them. I believe that this book will be perfect in inclusive preschools and other facilities where children with Autism are present."" Karolina Mutkowska - Teacher, oligophrenopedagogue, mother ""I am enchanted by the series of booklets with Fenek's adventures (Children too!!!!). Their simplicity and the accuracy of the content conveyed, as well as the ways of solving various social situations, captivate me. They are valuable guidelines for working with children. They engage all readers with colourful presentation. An additional advantage are the questions about the content read - thanks to them, children work on their concentration, focusing on the text to be able to answer them. The series of four stories accurately addresses the issue of difference and teaches children tolerance, acceptance, empathy in a simple way. Also noteworthy in the stories is the role and reactions of adults who build children's sense of self-worth. They show acceptance of various behaviours and reactions of children, are empathetic, patient, and provide wise advice, setting a good example. The booklets greatly facilitate my preparation for group classes and are a hint for organising individual classes. They are an inspiration when preparing for meetings with parents. I am very grateful to the authors for this."" Katarzyna Bartosiewicz - psychologist, oligophrenopedagogue, career advisor. For 21 years, I have been working at the Special Educational Centre in Zamośc as a psychologist. I work with children and adolescents with mild, moderate, severe, and profound intellectual disabilities and associated disabilities: autism, physical disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment."
