Overview

This book is an effort to reaffirm the fact that God still has a fresh word of encouragement for His people. Dr. Milner expresses himself in words that will communicate to the youth as well as the seasonal worshiper of Jesus Christ. This writing is a valid expression of what is believed to be words of direction, love, and assurance from God through the inspired messages received through constant prayer and meditation. God has always communicated with humankind-from the earliest days in the garden of Eden to the days of the apostle John on the island of Patmos. If we listen carefully and meditate on the word of God as presented in biblical text, we, too, will hear the communications from the Lord. In the sermon titled ""Stop Pretending,"" Dr. Milner seeks to help the reader accept the opportunity to be their authentic selves. In the message titled ""When It Seems There Is No Way Out,"" Dr. Milner is attempting to demonstrate the willingness of God to create a way out of situations that seem hopeless. As one reads this work with an open mind, there will be an unmistakable word spoken directly to that reader. It is hoped that all the scripture referenced will be read for proper context. Dr. Milner has given a thorough treatment of the word of God so that its relevance to our lives today is apparent.
