OverviewThe physical basis of propagation in general and in its many forms: acoustical, electro-magnetic, etc. is examined and explained in this book. Given the physical explanation the student of this book will come to an understanding of modern practice, its merits and limitations. In particular the student will learn how propagation is affected by discontinuities. A key finding of this work shows that all propagation conforms to a second extension of the bridge theorem which, in turn, forms the basis for understanding propagation velocities. The book ends with an analysis of Schroedinger's wave equation from which one easily concludes that the book can form a basis for rational explanations of quantum phenomena.
