OverviewThis book is a collection of sermons Rev. Clovice A. Lewis, Jr. wrote between 2001 and 2020. Clovice served his local Unitarian Universalist congregation as a lay leader during most of that time and was occasionally called upon to preach. Between 2018 and 2021 he studied at the Starr King School for the Ministry and received a Master's Degree in Divinity in May 2021. He was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist Minister in March of 2022. The sermons are presented in descending order of their creation. Thus, they provide a glimpse into how his thinking about theology has evolved over time. The sermons are offered as the musings of an artist, writer, inventor, and brother who is in love with the promise of justice for humanity and the planet upon which we live.
