Overview

This volume represents the second volume of papers emerging from the International Conference on Greek Linguistics, held biennially since 1993. At the second conference, it was decided to have short versions of all papers included in a two-volume conference proceedings publication, but also to publish a select set of longer, more developed papers on Greek linguistics, either from the conference or submitted independently. The present volume, with its 11 papers, is the result of that decision. Topics covered include phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics, and while synchronic concerns predominate, the diachronic viewpoint is also represented.
