Overview

The last 30 years has seen a concerted effort to undermine the historical veracity of Genesis 1-2, allowing an evolutionary view of science to determine the truth and interpretation of these important chapters. What began as a personal investigation that was anticipated to be a few short months launched into a decade plus exploration of biology, geology, anthropology, hermeneutics and exegesis. The popular view of evolutionary science has been found to be wanting and the move among evangelicals to abandon trust in a historical reading of Genesis 1-2 is based largely on a 1960's understanding of the science and a desire to be 'welcomed' by the scientific community. It is a train that bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ should not get on before it runs off the rails of a failing worldview.
