Y'know the saying, 'it's the journey and not the destination that matters'? You'll think I'm nuts for saying this, but sometimes the best part about moving to a new planet is the actual moving. I'll admit I was bored on that big, beige spaceship for the first few months, but things started hotting up about halfway into the journey. And they just kept getting hotter. There's been a theft on the Starship Phoenix, and unsuspecting passenger Holly has been asked to investigate. Unfortunately, she doesn't know the first thing about being Poirot. Luckily, she's got a man on the inside - a klutzy young waiter named Josh - who agrees to be her partner-in-crime-fighting. As they start to dig deeper, Holly and Josh discover more than they expected - about the crime, the Starship and, critically, about each other. Other short stories include: Searching for Sam - Delia's been daydreaming for the past 3 lectures now, and Sarah knows that if her nerd friend doesn't start concentrating, they'll both fail the class. So Sarah is forced to do what she knows is against all the laws of being an extra-terrestrial immigrant - reading her friend's thoughts. Place of Origin - James Tomkins is an ordinary guy - albeit, a bit of a British eccentric - working in an ordinary office. But when he starts hinting that he doesn't belong to this time period, Liz starts wondering if there might just be something to his crazy story. Pursuing My Dreams - Jess Quinto is given the chance of a lifetime - a job with an overseas research trip, funded by a charming and mysterious millionaire. But one thing Jess just can't figure out is, why did he choose her? Was he impressed by her research skills - or maybe something more sinister?
