He also presides over the annual Theatre World Awards, the oldest awards given to actors in a debut role on or off Broadway. On behalf of Theatre World, he received a Special Tony Honor for ""Excellence in the Theatre."" He lives in New York City. Ben Hodges is Associate Editor to John Willis on Theatre World, executive producer of the Theatre World Awards, and the editor of Forbidden Acts: Pioneering Gay & Lesbian Plays of the 20th Century. He is also an actor and producer, and has worked as a casting director for film, television and the stage. Tom Lynch has assisted John Willis with Theatre World since 1988.
