Maru has been involved in theater and education for almost 30 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Theater from UNAM in Mexico and she obtained her Master's in Education from Regis University in 2015. She was the Executive Producer of Grupo Bochinche in Mexico City and the Artistic Director and Producer for The 73rd. Avenue Theatre Company in Colorado. She has participated in more than 50 plays as actor and/or director. Currently she is pursuing her Doctorate Degree focusing in Organizational Leadership in Education and Business.
