OverviewInstructive with over forty years experience of Gurus and Ashrams Swami Abhedananda presents a unified and revealing vision of the various branches of Yoga. The reader will gain rare insight into the full diverse range of yogic spirituality. Many yogic newcomers, especially coming from western countries lack the critical approach to these matters and mix hearsay with facts quite indiscriminately. Here the reader is asked to keep a critical, yet not hostile view and be aware of breath-taking exaggerations and out-and-out fakes. Swami Abhedananda's organized chapters elucidate spiritual traditions and inform how to tell them apart and separate wheat from chaff without building a wall around for further growth.
