Overview

Troy, Brooke, and Eric have all been the best of friends since they were pups. When they were sixteen, Eric and Brooke began a relationship that ten years later is stronger than ever. However, one night, Brooke finally gets her mating bond, and it's not to the male she's loved for a decade, but rather, Troy. Eric urges the two of them to explore their fated bond, as his might come in soon, too. When a misinterpreted action leads Troy to claim Brooke officially, she's tied to him forever. Six months later, miserable with how things have turned out, Troy proposes that he and Eric share Brooke. The arrangement: she's with Troy enough to keep him from going into rut and hurting her during her times in heat, and then the rest of the time she and Eric can be together, like they had been before the bond happened.
