OverviewWorship is first and foremost an issue of the heart. Jesus said in Matthew 15:8-9 (NKJV), ""This people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me."" This unique view of worship looks through the lens of the heart of the worshipper to emphasize our very lives are a sacrifice to the Lord. In this journey of surrender, Rachel shares personal encounters in worship, often with no song to sing or music played- just an offering of self. When we give our pain, our joys, and our failures to Him, it becomes an act of worship. We pour out our very hearts to Him, which does not require a microphone, a spotlight, or music. In fact, before we tune an instrument or warm up our voices, we must make sure our hearts are in tune and aligned with God's heart, His will, and His desires. If the mind is the battlefield, our heart is the territory Jesus fought for at the cross.
