Author Information

Richard F. Wright and his wife Patti live in Jefferson, Massachusetts, only a few miles from Worcester where he was raised and a few miles further from Douglas, Massachusetts where Patti grew up. They met in the 1990's after both separated from previous marriages and have been together ever since. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force, graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMass-Amherst and has spent the past 35 plus years in the world of marketing, including 15 years in his own business as a marketing and management consultant with his oldest friend and business partner. Patti graduated from the Memorial Hospital of Worcester Nursing School as an RN and immediately became a full-time neonatal intensive care nurse, opening the unit with the founding physicians. She has been there since the mid 1970's. Today, she looks forward to reducing her hours and eventual retirement, as does Richard. He will retire when she does. Richard wrote the book and Patti agreed that what he wrote is consistent with what she has known all her life; religion ruins everything and there are no such things as deities.
