THE following correspondence will suffi ciently develope its own history. The letters originally made their appearance in the Charleston Courier, werecopiedintothe United States Catholic Miscellany, and portions of themappeared in several other papers. Many applications weremade to me soon after the termination of the correspondence, to republish the entire in one collection.
