OverviewDionysius the Areopagite was a well-known first-century judge from the Areopagus Court in Athens, Greece. He famously converted to Christianity when he heard the preaching of St. Paul, the story of which is related in the Acts of the Apostles (17:34). He is credited as being the author of numerous mystical writings, which explore various theological concepts in Christianity. Even though these works are thought to be 4th or 5th century pseudepigrapha, nevertheless they are widely read and accepted as important works from the early history of Greece. This book presents a modern English version of the work, ""The works of Dionysius the Areopagite, London, 1897, translated by John Parker"" as a source text, with the Bible references and footnotes preserved.
