Author Information

Wang Rong is an Associate Researcher at the Second Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources. He completed his PhD studies at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Germany, obtaining a doctorate in paleoclimatology from the University of Potsdam. He is a visiting scholar at Ohio State University in the United States. Wang was a scientific expedition team member on China's seventh Arctic scientific expedition. He has participated in multiple scientific expeditions to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the equator, the Pacific Ocean, and China's seas.
