Author Information

Lisa Kelly, PhD, lives in sunny Santa Barbara, California with her husband and two goofy dogs. As a child, she made up magical bedtime stories for her brothers and sisters-and never really stopped. The Wizard's Way is her debut novel. With a doctorate in psychology, Lisa brings a deep understanding of imagination, courage, and emotional growth to her storytelling. She believes that stories can help young readers face big feelings, grow brave hearts, and discover the magic inside themselves. Lisa is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and looks forward to connecting with readers through school visits and community events.
