From a young age, Bob Rundle developed an interest in science and the beauty of nature, as well as sharing that information with others. He was influenced by his brothers and friends who were always learning and discussing ideas, and building cool things. Another important influence was William Rundle, a laser scientist and Bob's uncle, who always shared interesting developments and scientific ideas whenever Bob visited with him. While in high school, Bob built a reflective telescope and spent many nights exploring the heavens. He completed college level courses in Astronomy, Calculus, and Physics while still in high school, and in his senior year, he taught an introductory Astronomy class to his fellow students. After being educated in keys to understanding the Bible, a new passion was born. Bob entered a missionary program for two years to begin sharing scriptural truths with others. Afterward, his two passions combined when he returned to college to study Science and Engineering, along with personal and group study of the Scriptures. During his engineering career, Bob has been privileged to work in a variety of industries and to witness many different wonders, including the blue glow of fuel rods in a commercial nuclear reactor pool, the launch facility at Cape Canaveral housing a live Boeing rocket on the launch pad, several air force bases, and many large manufacturing plants. Bob has also conducted Christian fellowships through the years teaching in-depth biblical truths. By maintaining a perspective on all these subjects, he experienced many breakthroughs in understanding the Scriptures, which resulted in this book. Bob currently works in the field of engineering and lives in Arizona with his wife, Carol.
