Overview

Nick is a spunky nickel with a nagging identity crisis. The newly minted 1943 coin can't shake the feeling that he is worth more than the ""Five Cents"" engraved on his back. At least that's what he hopes, anyway. The world is at war and he wants to do his part. But just what is that part - buying a candy bar, paying for a movie, bringing a little luck, or maybe even helping the Allied forces to victory? The Wild Adventures of Nick the 1943 Nickel follows the silver coin through hands and pockets over land, sea and air as he makes his way from America and across Europe during World War II. With the help of a cast of characters - human and not - Nick the 1943 nickel finds out what he's made of and, more importantly, what he was made for.
