Matt Birkbeck is an investigative journalist and bestselling author. His latest book, The Wicked, is his debut work of fiction. His previous nonfiction books include the bestsellers The Life We Chose, The Quiet Don, Deconstructing Sammy and A Beautiful Child and Finding Sharon, which were adapted by Netflix for the 2022 hit film Girl in the Picture, for which he served as executive producer.
