OverviewIts the 1970s in Atlanta, GA, a time and place where racial pressures and uneasiness exist in the South. However, a young white boy from Atlanta named Chet Grimsley decides to travel to Charlotte, NC, to accept a football scholarship to play for the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU), a Historically Black College and University. His journals recall the inspiring, real life stories that Chet endured being a minority at JCSU, including playing football, receiving the coveted Mr. Football award, and becoming the first white at JCSU to cross-over Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc.
