Overview

The Westminster Confession of Faith is one of the most comprehensive and yet accessible confessional documents that has ever been produced, with thirty three chapters spanning theological and practical subjects from the doctrine of the Trinity and God's decrees to civil matters like marriage and the civil magistrate. After more than 370 years, it remains the gold-standard of Reformed faith and practice, held by Presbyterian churches around the world, firmly rooted upon the Scriptures, and helpfully summarising the whole counsel of God, in order that the church may confess and unite around the truth as well as be protected from a multitude of error. This book is the result of a project by the pastors and elders of Pilgrim Covenant Church to print a short weekly bulletin to be read publicly before our service of worship, going through each paragraph of the Confession and giving a simple and devotional explanation, in order to acquaint the regular churchgoer with the faith that we hold and confess together.
