OverviewThe purpose of this text is to study the welfare state in Brazil between 1930 and 1990. To this end, this monograph is divided into three chapters, plus final considerations. The first chapter discusses the State in class society, the second discusses Keynesianism, and the third chapter deals specifically with the Welfare State. This is subdivided into two items that contextualize the historical moment when social policies began to emerge in Brazil and how they were configured. Finally, the final considerations aim to analyze all the content raised. The methodology adopted is dialectical historical materialism, and the data is collected from texts by authors who discuss the topic.
