The Weavers

Overview

SEEN: What You Are Book Three THE WEAVERS The question that has been underneath everything finally surfaces. Not the opposition. Not the facility. Not Hendricks and his file and the machinery of keeping people small. Those are real and they are coming - but they are not the deepest question. The deepest question is the one Sarah asks at the river at the end. Are we real? Are we being written? Are we the writers? She has spent three books becoming herself. She has loved Daniel in a river in July and led a gathering of glowing people on Thursday nights and faced down the forces that need her small and found, to her considerable surprise, that she is not small at all. She never was. Now she stands at the river with an old man who has appeared seven times through the course of this book - at significant moments, with exact timing, with a warmth that is specific and personal in a way that is hard to account for - and she asks the question the whole series has been building toward. He answers with a wink.
