Author Information

Virginia Woolf (1882–1941) was an English writer, considered one of the most important modernist authors of the twentieth century. Her novels include Mrs Dalloway (1925), To the Lighthouse (1927) and Orlando (1928). Flora Wilson Brown is a writer and dramaturg based in London. She is the co-founder, alongside Harry Tennison, of new writing theatre company DONOTALIGHT. Her plays include: The Beautiful Future is Coming (Jermyn Street Theatre, London, 2024 & 2025); I Know I Know I Know (Southwark Playhouse, London, 2022); and Viking (Edinburgh Fringe, 2019). She adapted Viriginia Woolf's novel The Waves for the stage (Jermyn Street Theatre, 2026). As a dramaturg, she has worked on projects at the Edinburgh Fringe, the RSC, and the Orange Tree Theatre.
