Overview

Autumn 1940. The Nazis seal 400,000 Jews inside a small area of the Polish capital, creating an urban island cut off from the outside world. Author Information

Richard Zimler was born in New York and now lives and teaches journalism in Portugal. He has written five novels, including the internationally bestselling series The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon, Hunting Midnight, Guardian of the Dawn and the Seventh Gate.
