Overview

The Wanderer's Notebook is an interconnected series of stories combining sci-fi, fantasy, and horror elements. These connections range from stories directly following one another, to shared creatures and worlds, to hidden connections that will be revealed over time. In a new realm, the elves have begun to heal from the destruction of their homeland when a mysterious artifact is found. Will this portal lead to new havens or new dangers? A young man tries to escape his responsibilities by running headlong into the arms of a monster. A young woman, traveling with her friends, meets an old man in the woods who opens her eyes to the hidden truth of those around her. After freeing their realm from the false queen of the jinn, the true queen's daughter and her elf ally explore the other realms to better prepare themselves for future threats. In the realm of the merfolk, discord in the songs of the serpents has corrupted the sea life. Mournful melodies in a terrible storm pull the jinniya and elf down into the depths. A girl, fearing for her brother's safety, leads him out on an adventure into a blizzard. The first vampire and his pupil, the daughter of his deceased captor and mentor, have grown their cult's influence throughout the empire. An unconquered tribe of shapeshifters piques their curiosity and may prove useful on their path toward dominance. The human crew of the expedition to a new galaxy awakens on board an alien ship. When the alien ship is attacked, the crew must decide whether to escape back to their galaxy or to complete the mission and seize the artifact on the planet's surface that their captors are so desperate to protect. Two friends join a secret society to further their academic and career goals, but will they be able to make the necessary sacrifices in order to succeed?
