B.V. Lightsey How can we Understand the voice of God Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son. I am B. V. Lightsey, author of The Voice of God. Thank you for joining with me in the study of God's Word. Our study of God's foundation for our redemption reveals God before the beginning, preparing His world for us. As a nine-year-old boy, God spoke to me in a clear, discernable voice, although it was a spiritual not physical voice. God spoke to my Spirit--through the Holy Spirit--asking me if I was ready to trust Jesus Christ as my Savior. I am a walking witness to Hebrew 1:1 in that God spoke to me seeking to save my soul. I am a layman, meaning I am not an ordained Minister. God has rewarded me in education, in employment, in Spiritual leadership, but most of all in the foundation of trust in Jesus as my Savior, my Lord and King of my life.
