Overview

The leading hymn writer, Timothy Dudley-Smith offers 30 new hymns mostly set to well known tunes for principal saints' days throughout the Christian year, celebrated by many churches: John the Baptist, Mary and Joseph, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Andrew, Peter and Thomas, Paul, Mary Magdalene, St. Michael and All Angels, and All Saints. In addition, hymns based on liturgical texts used in holy communion and daily prayer are offered: the Gloria, Agnus Dei, the Lord's Prayer, Te Deum, Benedicite, Benedictus, Magnificat, and Nunc Dimittis.
