Overview

The Vision, Vol. I of the Padre Pio Series is about the life of Padre Pio in its initial beginnings upto his intrance into religious life as a Franciscan Capuchin Monk. It focuses on the intellectual vision he experienced a few days short of his entrance into religious life which highly influenced his decision. The Vision gives a line by line commentary on the autobiographical information given to his spiritual directors about this one particular vision, which outlined his entire life and his work in the Church. The Vision aims at giving a reasonable commentary into the spiritual devlopment of Padre Pio and offers insights into his spiritual itinerary as he exposed it only years later to noted authorities on his spiritual trials and progress as a Capuchin Priest.
