Author Information

Carol Collier Kuhlthau is Distinguished Professor Emerita of Library and Information Science at Rutgers University, USA, where she directed the graduate program in school librarianship—ranked number one by U.S. News & World Report—and was founding director of the Center for International Scholarship in School Libraries. Kuhlthau is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking research on the information search process. Her publications include Seeking Meaning: A Process Approach to Library and Information Services, 2e, and Guided Inquiry: Learning in the 21st Century.
