The author describes trade as the main cause of the spread of Buddhism in ancient Israel since before the birth of Jesus, citing historical documents and archaeological discoveries. Author Information

Antonio Lizar was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Graduated in advertising, he is dedicated to more than 30 years to the study of comparative religions, primarily focused on the Jude-Christian religions and the Eastern doctrines and philosophies, especially Buddhism and Taoism. His first book, The Vine and the Lotus, is the result of two years of researches, evaluating and comparing the texts and translations of the main eastern books with the texts of the New Testament and apocrypha gospels. In 2015 the author translated into Portuguese the book From Kautilya: the Arthashastra. The author has his literary activities of self-taught and independently of any religious group.
