Overview"The Village Girl Grew Up By: Roselidah Obunaga From her humble beginnings, Roselidah was always determined to dream big. Her faith and the support from her late parents served as catalyst into the person who she is now. Since her youthful age and growing into adulthood, Rose has continued to pursue her love for volleyball. She has progressively coached and reached out to the communities that helped her develop as well as local communities. About the Author Roselidah Obunaga is currently a head volleyball coach at Savannah State University. She enjoys coaching young kids and participating in volleyball camps as well. Obunaga volunteers in the communities she has lived in and with USAV volleyball. When she visits the village she grew up in, she helps build schools, assist in the upbringing of their sports teams, and donates uniforms and balls to help kids practice volleyball.
