Overview

This story is of Gary, Thui and Ok Yo. Gary continues to find the right person to fill a void left after his divorce from Thui; He meets Ok Yo, a Korean that was once a Kisaeng working in Korea. He travels to Hawaii where they marry and strive to start a family, He is employed by the Depart of Navy as a heavy equipment mechanic. His son Jack is born. After the birth of his son Ok Yo obtains work in a Hawaiian Hostess Bar, as a Bar Girl. The story is recounts of different stories of the O'aha Kisaeng Club.. A membership of five Korean women that came to America as War brides. It about their struggles to survive and prosper in their new home land. Gary story ends up in Adak, Alaska, an island in the Aleutian Chain.
