Founded by John Samara, a Syrian native who grew up as a Christian in a Muslim-majority community, Ananias House supports the persecuted Church. Dorcas Hooverlives with her husband, Jerry, and their family in Dover, Ohio. With a lifelong calling and passion for telling true stories, she authored House Calls and Hitching Posts as well as Awaiting the Dawn.
