Author Information

Beth Shoshan was born in Brighton. She is the author of some twenty picture books, including 'My Mum', 'That's When I'm Happy', 'Little Rabbit Couldn't Sleep' and 'If Big Can... I Can!'. She currently lives and works in London. Masumi Furukawa was born in Nagoya in 1972 and now works as an illustrator and author of children's books in Tokyo. After she graduated in Literature at the University in Nagoya, she went to Italy and studied painting at the Art Academy of Florence and then Illustration at IED in Milan. Her work has been exhibited at at Bologna Book Fair (2009). She has worked on over 20 books with different publishers in Taiwan, France, America, Britain and Japan. Through her work, she hopes to impart memorable messages and to allow children enjoy the imaginary world she creates.
