But he is troubled, for he cannot hop like the rabbits outside. When his young owner becomes sick with scarlet fever, the velveteen rabbit faces an even greater question: Will he escape the fate of the other toys and books in the germ-ridden nursery? Margery Williams (1881-1944) was an American author of popular children's books. The 1921 publication of her classic story The Velveteen Rabbit was her best-known work. Gary MacFadden is a voice talent based in western Montana, USA. He works in commercial, e-learning, explainer videos, and audiobooks. Gary has narrated and produced fifty audiobooks and has produced additional books for other narrators.
