Overview

Half blog, half history book, this is very opinionated and very lively review of the eight years of President Barak Obama. There is something in here to offend everyone. I start out liking FOX News, disliking Obama, and griping about the liberals. In 2012 I tread water and hang on in support of Romney, but have mixed feelings about so many things, and I considered voting for Obama. I strongly disliked the Tea Party Movement. Along comes Trump in July of 2015 and I not only like him, I like him a lot. That lasts a few weeks. Then he starts offending me. Then it happens 70 more times, and by mid-September I strongly dislike him. For the last third of the book, I am filled with rage against DT. So if you want some really strong tirades against Trump, you came to the right place. But remember, I am a Reagan guy who disliked Carter and liked FOX News until Trump's Time. So there's something in here to annoy everyone. I'm all over the road and inconsistent and I'm proud it it, too. One minute I'm starting to really like Bernie Sanders, the next I'm calling him Karl Marx Sanders. One month I can't stand the Clintons, and when the book ends, I respect Mrs. C., and like her. It's mostly because of Trump that I now like Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama. I could have supported Kasich or even Cruz, but Trump is the opposite of what I stand for. - This is a very useful refresher on the various events of the era, from Captain Phillips to Charlie Hebdo. - I have no idea how I feel about anything anymore right now, thanks to Trump, but my previous 56 books on American History place me clearly in the conservative category. It's an absolutely horrible sign that I don't mind turning on MSNBC once in a while.
