Dr. Sasha Gollish is a national team middle- and long-distance runner, coach, engineer, and gender equity advocate. With a PhD in civil engineering and decades of experience in sport, Sasha brings a unique blend of academic insight and lived expertise to everything she does. She is the Director of Community Engagement and Knowledge Mobilization at the University of Toronto's Mental Health and Physical Activity Research Centre, where she leads research on equity, athlete well-being, and safe sport.Sasha is passionate about helping girls and women find belonging in movement - whether that's through sport, play, or simply showing up for themselves. As a coach and mentor, she empowers athletes to pursue joy and excellence on their own terms.
