Reviews

A Must Read book of loss, trauma, and adventure for a Maine Lobsterman. I was surprised at how much this book drew me in to non-stop reading! The setting in the coastal Maine town of Casco Bay brought back my own fond memories of being on vacation in coastal lobster towns in Maine. However, little would I have thought of the possible difficulties some of the citizens from there might be going through. This book explores the life of lobsterman Ben and his struggles with bereavement, alcohol addiction, new love and fighting off a drug cartel from Mexico. I was amazed how the author could describe in detail the psychological traumas of Ben, his ability to plan an escape from the cartel on open waters and his also his ability to defend his son and himself in a battle in his home. Excellent novel, Mr. Milne! --Judie, L, March 21, 2025 Amazon.com verified purchaser customer review
