The Unchosen

Overview

If you're not the Chosen One, then you shouldn't have to do a hero's work. Renard Foxtail, renowned wizard and charmer (at least according to himself) has been in better situations. Captured by the Grayclaws, he faces punishment for his alleged sins. Alleged, because it depends on whose point of view one looks at. That punishment is, however, looking better by the minute because death is running towards them all, maws wide open and ready to bite down on Grayclaws and prisoners alike. If Renard doesn't step up, everyone will die. But the Chosen One has no plans to let the infamous Foxtail go afterward. Faced with maddened enemies and noble heroes who wish to rule the narrative, can Renard save himself? And, oh yes-everyone else too? Because that is surely the right thing to do! The Unchosen is a standalone fantasy short story of 7K+ words about what happens when the bad guy has to suck it up and be the good guy. Just for a while of course...

Author Information

G.K.Lund is an independent fantasy author with a love of old stories and folklore; anything that's dark, weird and wonderful. It's a good thing then that G.K. is based roughly somewhere in the realms of Scandiwegia where old myths are plentiful. G.K. has a background in archaeology (dirty nails and all) and will probably have to put an archeologist into a story one day. Until then, potty-mouthed and kickass characters with other jobs will have to face high stakes and save the day. Find out more and get the news first, as well as a free book.
