It was supposed to be a cozy, survival island TV show... Jay Morrison is stuck in a dead-end warehouse job, his days as a missionary in South America a distant memory. On a whim, he applies for The Ultimate Survivalist, a new reality TV show offering a 2-million-dollar grand prize. Flown to a remote private island, Jay and the other contestants are given their primary directive: survive. The twist? There are no firearms, and almost no rules. Jay quickly realizes the most dangerous predators on the island aren't the wildlife, but the other contestants. The ""no rules"" environment brings out the worst in people. He partners with Lilly, a brilliant marine biologist, but they soon find themselves targeted by the others. The chaos escalates when Jay's refusal to back down puts him in the crosshairs of a vindictive producer who orders her armed security to confront him. The security team he humiliated is linked to an evil element, and their 'boss' has come to the island with a squad of armed men, seeking his son, while leaving a trail of bodies. Trapped between the after effects of a storm and a private army, Jay and Lilly's contest for fame and cash has become a desperate battle for survival. His skills kept him alive in South America when he was younger, but can they save him from the men who kill for a living?
