Overview

Before becoming engrossed in the pages of this study, be warned that what you are about to read will not agree with some of the most common teachings regarding the last week of Jesus's life in the flesh. The Scriptures are applied contextually to show how some of our most basic traditions are in error, proving once again the necessity of becoming Bereans (Acts 17:11) with the Word of God. The emphasis of this study is to bring focus and clarity to the events the Lord Jesus Christ endured, starting approximately one week before the crucifixion and continuing through to His resurrection. Scholars and commentaries often refer to the week before the Lord's death as the Passion Week.
