OverviewInfrared science cameras are complex instruments that require extensive training to use correctly to measure apparent temperatures, radiance and radiant intensity correctly, and this also applies to the software that interfaces to these cameras. The users of these cameras often require extensive customer support and training, which can be augmented with written material that goes beyond the usual user guides. The Ultimate Infrared Radiometry Handbook for R&D Professionals started as a collection of application notes written by the author to help bridge the gap between the user guides for FLIR scientific cameras and the user guide for ResearchIR, FLIR's former science camera software. The author organized the application notes into chapters of a PDF which was released in 2021 and an extensive rewrite and update in 2024 for FLIR Research Studio software included new material. This book was written with FLIR cameras and software in mind, but the underlying principals apply to any radiometrically calibrated infrared camera system. Full Product DetailsAuthor: Austin A.
