Writer and broadcaster John Parsons--a journalist for 50 years--first reported for the Oxford Mail as a 14-year-old and went on to cover tennis for more than 30 years until his death in 2004. The tennis correspondent for the Daily Telegraph, he wrote The Official Wimbledon Annual for 20 years and received the Ron Bookman Media Excellence Award for his writing. Henry Wancke, a personal friend and former colleague of John's, is the editor of Tennis Today magazine and the Secretary of the Association of British Tennis Writers.
