Overview

This book is not a DYI book, it is not a buyer's guide. This book is a collection of my experiences as an appliance technician. Ultimately it contains the majority of the most common issues maintenance and repairs I've done over a 20-year career. This is a book that gives you a peek inside the appliance repair industry, guides you through all the things mom and dad didn't know how to answer about appliances for you. My goal is not to create a dry technical repair manual but rather something of a conversation that gives you the tools (in the form of knowledge) to understand the how and why these things work and eventually break. I've based most of this information on what I would look for when arriving at a clients home and assessing the situation. I've had these exact conversations thousands of times over; these are the things I would have told you if I came to your home to fix something that has gone awry. Side note: I am not an author by trade, this book has not been edited by any professionals, it was written in a month but contains 20years worth of experiance and observations please be kind as I really just want to get this information to the people who would make use of it.
